In terms of “new” regulatory matters a much quieter week which may be of some comfort to those feeling the heat ...... of regulatory activity.
The Enforcement and Discipline pronouncements continue without abatement. It raises the question of: ‘When does one conclude a policy described as ‘credible deterrence’ is not achieving its aim?’ Presumably, if this FSA policy is succeeding the Enforcement activity should decrease. The author is not a betting man but it not thought advisable to assume the level of Enforcement actions will decline any time soon.
