No particular theme this week but the first article is a must read for all General Insurance Brokers, particularly those specialising in commercial lines.
Perhaps the writer is naïve but the difference between legitimate incentives and corruption is arguable and the FSA report, which is our first article, does include best practice guidelines which is useful and something we all need to read.
Very few of our readers are still writing PPI and ASU but if you are one of those that continues with this business please read the first article on page 2 and download the link as contravening this agreement could have very unfortunate enforcement consequences.
The last article on page 3 could be read as the FSA looking for sympathy as it must comply with the public sector equality duty under the Equality Act 2010. All readers who feel sympathy are welcome to call their favourite FSA Supervisor and express their feelings.
